Electrical insulating tape for blasting circuits ELECTRIX
Electrical insulating tape for blasting circuits ELECTRIX
Electrical insulating tape is intended for use in blasting works to insulate connections between electric detonators or to insulate connections of protective cables with the detonator circuit and blasting line, as well as for regeneration of minor damages in blasting circuits, in particular for:
- insulating the places of the damaged coating of the SY and SDY blasting conductors,
- insulating damaged places of the outer coating (yellow) of PSY type two-wire cables, unless the damage reaches the outer coating (black and green),
- insulating the face connections of the protective conductors with the detonator circuit and blasting line,
- insulating connections between detonators and single detonator wires.
Note: These tapes cannot be used for more serious repairs of two-core cables (blasting cables), e.g. PSY type, for which there are separate approved repair instructions.
The product has a positive technical opinion of the Central Mining Institute.
PLACE OF APPLICATION:
Electrical insulating tape is used in blasting works in all mines, including mines with methane hazard.
